Meet the staff

Shane and Wendy Clark began attending New Life Church in the winter of 2008. They began student pastoring the youth group in the spring of 2009. At that time, the youth group consisted of about 8 amazing students. It was with the help and input of these foundational students that Nexus Student Ministries was born.

The Clarks have been student pastoring since 2003 and have over 20 years of combined experience in working in student ministry. They count it an honor and a passion to help guide young people into a life with Christ.

Megan Wickliffe joined the Nexus Team as a Committee Member in the fall of 2016.  Megan is a proud alum of Nexus.  Megan serves in various administrative and creative roles in Nexus and New Life Church. Her faithfulness to her relationship with God and to the study of His Word make Megan a teasured Team member. Megan has taught many Sunday School lessons and has helped develop several teaching series throughout her tenure as as student and Committee member.

Jase Lumpkins is the newest Committee Member by joining the Team in the fall of 2017.  Jase is no stranger to Nexus. He too is a Nexus Alum and has filled in to preach Nexus Services on several occasions prior to joining the Nexus Team. Jase has a true passion for worship and working for the Kingdom. Additionally, he has never met a stranger! We look forward to his impact on our students.
